Popular La Strada website is now ‘Live in Five’

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Jan. 27, 2011 – We are proud to announce that we have successfully translated our state-of-the-art website into five out of the ten principal Internet languages. In an effort to better serve our international customers, beginning January 27, 2011, lastrada.com will be going live in five languages– English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Russian. There is a separate section for each language on the website, with links and navigational aids in the language of each section.

From any page, viewers can readily move from items in one language to the parallel items in other languages simply by clicking on the flag icons at the website header. For now, only the English and Spanish versions of our website contain exciting audio-visual content; however, more language support planned for early 2011 will change that. What will not change is that we will continue to improve and update the site with fresh new content; making return visits always a rewarding experience.

La Strada wins First Place Exhibit at Orlando Home Show

ORLANDO, FL – Sept. 20, 2010 – The Orlando Home & Garden Show was a huge success. Held September 10-12, 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center, the show enjoyed record attendance this year. On hand were elite contractors from all categories including irrigation, displays, tree experts, pools and spas, interior design specialists, and outdoor design consultants. Other feature exhibits included sunrooms, kitchens and baths, furniture, awnings and decks, HVAC services, windows, doors and siding, water treatment systems, home theaters, home security, insulation, solar energy management, and so much more.

After wrapping up the Miami Home Design & Remodeling Show on Tuesday, and with very little time to spare, dedicated La Strada team members drove north to Central Florida to set up the large Orlando Show exhibit in time for the Friday morning grand opening. Little did they know that our booth would win first prize out of all of the other exhibits! East Coast Consumer Shows conducted a random poll of both attendees and exhibitors, and the La Strada exhibit was judged best in show, based on color, organization, creativity, eye appeal and design.  Our proud team members received the “1st Place Exhibit” plaque with onlooker applause!

The critics agree; the best show in town is at your house!

Imaginna Diseño was a great success!

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA – May 18, 2010 – Imaginna Diseño 2010 closed its doors yesterday on a successful and satisfying trade show. There were over 130 exhibitors on hand from many different countries for the six-day event, held May 12-17 at the Corferias International Exhibition Center in Bogotá, Colombia. Among the 25,000 attendees, were over 5,200 professionals from the trade, including architects, designers, manufacturers and decorators.

With three booths set up in busy Pavilion 6, we got the chance to meet a lot of nice people. Our complete interiors concept, from pencil drawing to manufacturing to final installation was highly received by everyone we talked to. There was nothing else like it at the show…

Together with the new site design, we are inaugurating our new Spanish website, dedicated to the Latin-American community and Spanish-speakers in the USA. Both English and Spanish versions of the new site contain exciting new audio-visual content, make it easier for visitors to navigate through the site, and easier to contact us directly. The newly improved site will be frequently updated with fresh new content, making return visits a rewarding experience.

As part of its continuous expansion, La Strada released its new bilingual English-Spanish catalog in May, the first of its kind in the industry, and will soon open a new showroom on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables.
